Virtual Trauma Therapy · Ontario

You've been thriving on the outside long enough.

Start thriving on the inside too.

Welcome to Asentriarc

Trauma-informed therapy for high-achieving adults who look fine but don't feel fine.

Asentriarc is a virtual therapy clinic serving adults across Ontario who are dealing with burnout, complex trauma, and nervous system dysregulation, the kind that hides behind a full calendar and a capable exterior.

If you've spent years pushing through, staying functional, and wondering why the coping strategies never quite stick, here's why: lasting change doesn't start with insight. It starts with your nervous system.

That's where we start too.

Is this you?

You might recognize yourself here:

• You are accomplished and dependable, and always the one others count on

• You swing between overdrive and complete shutdown with nothing in between

• Anxiety, emotional flooding, or numbness have become your baseline

• You're reactive in moments that surprise you, and harder on yourself than you'd ever be on anyone else

  • You've tried insight-based therapy before, you know the language of nervous systems and attachment styles, and you're still stuck

• Underneath the productivity is a nervous system that's never felt fully safe

Many of the adults we work with are high-functioning, responsible, capable, the ones everyone else leans on. They don't look like they're struggling. That's part of the problem.

This isn't a willpower problem. It's what happens when a nervous system spends years in survival mode, and it's exactly what we treat at Asentriarc.

You don't want a different life. You want your ambition and your nervous system working together instead of against each other.

Why The Nervous System Comes First in Trauma Therapy

Most therapy leads with insight, helping you understand why you feel the way you do. At Asentriarc, we've found that understanding alone rarely creates lasting change for people with complex or developmental trauma.

A nervous-system-first approach means helping your body feel safe before your mind is asked to do the work of healing. It's grounded in polyvagal theory, somatic therapy, trauma and attachment science, and it's the foundation of everything we do.

Our proprietary framework, the STEER Method, gives clients a clear, repeatable process for nervous system regulation that works alongside traditional talk therapy.

You don’t need to become someone new. Instead, try to become the most regulated person in the room — even when the room is your own life.

You don't have to wait until you break.

A lot of the people who find Asentriarc are still functioning. Still showing up. Still meeting every obligation. But they are tired in a way that sleep does not fix and they have known for a while that something needs to change.

You are allowed to ask for support before you hit the wall.
