Virtual Trauma Therapy · Ontario & Nova Scotia

You are still showing up.

Your nervous system is exhausted.

Welcome to Asentriarc

Where ascent meets matriarchy.

Asentriarc is a trauma-informed virtual therapy clinic serving high-achieving adults across Ontario and Nova Scotia. We specialize in burnout, complex trauma, and nervous system dysregulation — the kind that hides behind a full calendar and a capable exterior.

If you've spent years pushing through, staying functional, and wondering why coping strategies never quite stick — this is why: lasting change doesn't happen at the level of insight. It happens at the level of the nervous system.

At Asentriarc, we meet you there.

Trauma-informed therapy for adults who look fine but feel everything.

Who We Serve

Is this you?

Many of the adults we work with are high-functioning — responsible, capable, and quietly running on empty. They don't look like they're struggling. That's part of the problem.

You might recognize yourself here:

• You are accomplished and dependable and always the one others lean on

• You swing between overdrive and complete shutdown with nothing in between

• Anxiety, emotional flooding, or numbness have become your baseline

• You have tried insight-based therapy before and still feel stuck

• Beneath the productivity is a nervous system that has never truly felt safe

This is not a willpower problem. It is not a character flaw. It is what happens when a nervous system spends years in survival mode. And it is exactly what we treat at Asentriarc Wellness.

Why the nervous system comes first in trauma therapy.

Most therapy approaches lead with insight — helping you understand why you feel the way you do. At Asentriarc, we believe that understanding alone rarely creates lasting change for people with complex or developmental trauma.

A nervous system-first approach means helping your body feel safe before your mind is asked to do the work of healing. This is grounded in polyvagal theory, somatic therapy, and attachment science. It is the foundation of everything we do at Asentriarc Wellness.

Our proprietary framework, the STEER Method, gives clients a clear and repeatable process for nervous system regulation that works alongside traditional talk therapy.

Frequently Asked Questions *

  • Trauma-informed therapy is an approach to mental health care that recognizes how past traumatic experiences affect the mind, body, and nervous system. At Asentriarc Wellness, trauma-informed therapy means we pace treatment by your nervous system's capacity, prioritize safety and trust in the therapeutic relationship, and use evidence-based approaches including somatic therapy, polyvagal theory, and the STEER Method.

  • Nervous system dysregulation is when the autonomic nervous system becomes stuck in a stress response — fight, flight, or freeze — and struggles to return to a state of calm and safety. Symptoms include chronic anxiety, emotional flooding, irritability, exhaustion that sleep does not fix, and difficulty being present. At Asentriarc, nervous system regulation is central to everything we do.
