Virtual Trauma Therapy · Ontario & Nova Scotia

You're holding it together on the outside.

Your nervous system is exhausted on the inside.

Welcome to Asentriarc

Where ascent meets matriarchy.

Asentriarc is a trauma-informed virtual therapy clinic serving high-achieving adults across Ontario and Nova Scotia. We specialize in burnout, complex trauma, and nervous system dysregulation — the kind that hides behind a full calendar and a capable exterior.

If you've spent years pushing through, staying functional, and wondering why coping strategies never quite stick — this is why: lasting change doesn't happen at the level of insight. It happens at the level of the nervous system.

At Asentriarc, we meet you there.

Who We Serve

Is this you?

Many of the adults we work with are high-functioning — responsible, capable, and quietly running on empty. They don't look like they're struggling. That's part of the problem.

You might recognize yourself here:

  • You're accomplished, dependable, and always the one others lean on

  • You swing between overdrive and complete shutdown — with very little in between

  • Anxiety, emotional flooding, or numbness have become your baseline

  • You've tried insight, journaling, even therapy before — and still feel stuck

  • Beneath the productivity is a nervous system that has never truly felt safe.

This isn't a willpower problem. It's not a character flaw. It's what happens when a nervous system spends years in survival mode — long after the original threat has passed.

Our Approach

Most therapy approaches lead with insight — helping you understand why you feel the way you do. That understanding matters. But for people with complex or developmental trauma, insight alone rarely creates lasting change.

At Asentriarc, we use a nervous system-first approach grounded in our proprietary STEER Method (State, Trigger/Threat, Emotion, Environment, Regulate) — a trauma-informed framework designed to help your body feel safe before your mind is asked to do the work of healing.

Trauma-Informed Therapy That Leads With the Nervous System

Our care is:

  • Relational — the therapeutic relationship is the healing, not just the container for it

  • Somatic — we work with the body, not just the mind

  • Paced by safety — regulation before insight, safety before change, relationship before repair

  • Virtually delivered — accessible across Ontario and Nova Scotia from wherever you are

You don't have to wait until you break.

A lot of the people who find us are still functioning — still showing up, still meeting every obligation. They haven't collapsed. But they're tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix, and they've known for a while that something needs to change.

You're allowed to ask for support before you hit the wall.

Book a free 15-minute consultation. We'll listen, help you figure out what kind of support fits, and connect you with the right therapist or practitioner for where you are right now.

No pressure. No intake forms before you've even had a conversation. Just a place to begin.
